HaftaCraft - Sometimes, you just Hafta Craft!

Lets start making this server a community again

So I had a Minecraft dream last night, and I clearly dream of building and running a server/community again.

Obvs the last 7 months have not panned out anywhere near what I thought they would be, with regards to work, HaftaCraft, hell, even my personal life. That said, I think it's time to adjust our trajectory.

Here's what's going to happen between now and March (the supposed end of my project):

• My new server will be at 2.haftacraft.com if anybody wants to join. Keep in mind the following points...
• Building up a recent (whatever MC version that currently is) server
• No new initiatives, features, games, etc.
• This server will be to satisfy my need to HaftaCraft, not the community
• There will be no/minimal moderation
• I will add things that I want to enhance my (mostly solo) gameplay
• The main server (1.haftacraft.com) will remain as-is, with any updates as I feel necessary
• I will build structures slowly to support the server once it hits mainstream...

Thirteen (13) months later, I finally get around to another post. Now, onto the big news:

HaftaCraft is going to make (yet) another comeback! This time for 1.12!

I'm keeping this short for now, just to get the word out there but I'll be updating this post with additional information about the server progress, what's been going on the past 13 months, etc.

So, keep checking back! I promise updates.

UPDATE 6 (2017-08-18): Jesus F'n Christ, another power issue, took out my storage array! Yet again, lost my changes, but I think the main server is OK, not totally sure on that, need to check on that. But the bigger set back right now is it completely ate the 1.12 server. Fortunately, I have the next 4 days off from work, so I'm going to work on that. Not sure how far this has set me back, but I'd like to have the server ready for people to play in September.

UPDATE 5 (2017-08-10): Had another power outage at the datacenter that wiped out backups of the main...

After a few long months of getting the server going, we've finally begun advertising. Ran into a few road blocks we're working out, so in the meantime, help us by voting for the existing server banners! Here are their links:
